I have very managable hair. If i blow my hair straight, it will stay that way. and if i just let it dry, it's wavy/curly. well... i don't know exactly how to blow my hair straight. once this hairstylist blew my hair straight. he used just normal dove shampoo and conditioner, and stuff. please help! if you are a hairstylist, can you give me tips on how to blowdry my hair striaght?

* Straightening Balm

* Blow Dryers

* Heat Protectant Sprays

* Anti-frizz Hair Serums

* Towels

* Shampoo

* Deep Conditioner

* Ceramic hair flat-iron

Step 1:

To straighten hair, begin by shampooing, conditioning and towel-drying hair.

Step 2:

Apply a heat protectant product to your hair, paying special attention to the ends.

Step 3:

Place a quarter-size dollop of straightening balm in your palm. Rub your palms together to distribute the product over your hands, then massage it evenly through hair.

Step 4:

Comb through your hair with your fingers while gently blow-drying it on a low setting. This removes excess water.

Step 5:

Pull your hair into three sections, two at the sides and one at the back. Clip the two sides up.

Step 6:

Select a small portion of the hair from the unclipped section to straighten.

Step 7:

Using a thick, round brush and beginning at the roots, gently pull the brush through the hair to the ends while blow-drying it. Pull the hair away from your head, stretching and straightening it as you go.

Step 8:

First pull the brush through the underside of your hair so that you expose it directly to the heat of the dryer. Once that area is mostly dry, switch to the top of the hair.

Step 9:

Keep the tension consistent and evenly distribute heat over the section of hair you're working on. This ensures uniform hair texture and prevents overdrying of certain areas.

Step 10:

Once that portion of hair is straightened, continue selecting and blow-drying small portions until that section is dry and straight.

Step 11:

Repeat the process on the two other sections to straighten your entire head of hair.

A straightening product, hairclip, paddle brush %26amp; blowdryer is all you need! My personal favourite product is Bumble%26amp;Bumble Straight. It's clear, and comes in a clear tube. It's a little bit pricy though, but it definitely works. It's incredible, since I have very UNmanagable hair. While my hair's still damp, I take some B%26amp;B and put it on my hair, then brush the hair through to make sure the product gets spread around. Then I take a hairclip, and clip up the top half of my hair so I can do the bottom. Take a paddle brush (flat brushes, sometimes square), and your blowdryer and blowdry the hair in sections as you brush it out. If you know how to use a round brush, this gets way better results, but I personally find them hard to use.

You can use a straightening iron in the end after your hair is dry to tame the frizzies, but don't overuse it. Those fry your hair unless you use one of those really expensive ionic or tourmaline ones.

well, go to a good salon that sells alot of good product.Tell them about ur hair + and they will give u some good products. Don't buy from the drug store/ gerocery store they are cxheep, so it is good to invest in a good bottle of hair products. I would recommend using a thermal protection then take ur hair in small sections then blow dry the sides t get some one to do the hard to reach areas. after that put a serme on it.

Once your hair is just a little bit wet (damp) take your fingers and run them through your hair, continuing to use your blow dryer on it. It usually doesn't matter what shampoo you use, but conditioner helps keep it smooth and not frizzy.

To make things much easier though, buy a straightening iron and straighten small peices at a time.

I have no discoverd the lovely flat iron..

I used to chemical straighten my hair.. ohh no dont do that at all.. my hair almost burnt all off...

I have very thick wavey/curly hair... my ends .. end everywhere to where they dont even come to a nice end.. so this is what I do..

I use a heat activated conditioner, when I get out of the shower I brush it out and imediatly blow it dry on high heat. I use my brush and brush it - hold it and put the blow dryer on that area. It takes a while but I get it pretty straight. Then... I take and flip my hair over and use a flat iron to finish out its smoothness and straightness.

Gawd my hair feels awesome and looks great and even not as thick as it did.. but defenatly get a flat iron!!! trust me it works! - I also dont wash my hair every every day, but every other day. so that I dont have to do this process every day. But I DO do the hot iron every day.
