my hair looks very similar to my cartoon avatar but the difference is due to hair coloring and using flat irons and other hair products over the years, i have hair breakage and drying so i wanted to give my hair a rest and start wearing wigs and/or weaves i see a lot of nice looking wigs and so i'm just curious if it's possible with my big *** head lol and my loads of hair so advice please!

Have your real hair braided (as thin as possible) and wear a stocking cap over your hair under wig or have weave sew over braids. This helps to give you a break from heat and color damage but can be damaging in itself because braiding too tight will thin your hair out around the hairline and keeping it braided too long will cause the hair to get very dry/brittle, also causing excessive breakage.

If youll be wearing weaves or wigs longterm, theres hair cuts that can thin out your hair and hairproducts that can cut down the frizz instead of ironing it.

If you want to wear a wig, braid your hair to the back and make sure the parts are small so that the braids aren't bulky and make the wig look crazy on your head.
