Right now it is puffy and just doesn't seem free-moving, if that makes any sense. I think I need it to be heavier. It just stays in one position and is puffy and all my hair seems to just be one big puffy ball and either end of the back of my hair always flips up and seems thin at the ends. Here is my hair at the moment.

Well, I have an Afro now, but have had straight hair before, I like different styles. The best thing to do is to use a shampoo that has conditioning and cleansing in it, don't condition after shampooing, this makes the hair to stiff and frizzy. The best shampoo is one with silk proteins. Then use a blow dryer, and a hard gel like Paul Michell only at the ends, don't use the gel all over, this is not good if you want free hair, comb once then run your hands through it to separate, and voila! You have movement. This really works!
