Is 'twisting', or playing your hair hereditary?

I have 'twisted' my hair my entire life, and when my baby was only 3 months I noticed she was always running her fingers through her hair. Now, she's 20 months old and she completely 100% no mistakes about it, twists her hair! She even pulls a big strand of it into her mouth like I do (YUCK I know!!) we don't suck on it, just place it in between my lips. (We BOTH do it!!!)

Well most traits are herediatary, but alot of them are learned, we do certain things to make our selves feel comfortable. it just so happens you two perfer the same thing. just be glad she doesn't pull out her hair or eat it like some children.

seems more like a habit, if she saw you doing it she could just be copying you.

no it is not hereditary she just notice that u be doing that a lot she is observing u.

No it does not seem to be hereditary. Since you have not had

a better thing to do you have ended up twisting %26amp; chewing your

hair, and poor little kid may have just learned to immitate you!!
