I think you need to go to the hair dresser and have them press your hair down or you can buy a stove presser yourself and you could do it.........if really works....I have a black people hair(i'm black)...lol....and it gets all my napps and everything......you can ask any black woman about it....they'll tell you.......but after you get it pressed than for sure you can curl it.......try and go to a salon that has black hairstyleist cause most likely they'll have the irons......good luck

Try frizz ease it helps trust me! and if you just get out of the shower and you wanna scrunch it use gel (I like Aussie) and then spray Aussie Freeze on it.

Have you ever heared of a CHI ? Its a hair straitener... And let me tell you no matter how frizy your hair is it will straiten it! It is awesome! Oh but it is like 100$ But its so worth it.

try a maxi glide,, there pretty expensive, but i have heard that they work great on all hair try going to maxiglide.com or go buy a wide flatting iron, and use herbal essences dangerously straight, flat out finishing spray, i like that combo!
