How do i restore natural oils to my hair?

I realized i've made a big mistake in washing my hair every day for the past who knows how long!I want to restore my natural oils cause i believe i've stripped my hair of lots of natural oils because its tends to get "wirey",dry and a bit firzzy sometimes(not much)through the day.It also gets really greasy if I don't wash it each day.

If I remember correctly my hair never used to be like this!

To restore natural oils to your hair, get a natural bristle brush (look for one with LONG bristles, at least as long as the thickness of your hair) and brush your hair with it every day and/or before your shampoo. Brush slowly and gently, from the roots to the ends, in one long stroke. Brush each section in a different direction than it grows, then brush it all back into its usual style. (I do 100 strokes).

This will distribute the oils along the length of the hair.

There is nothing wrong with washing your hair every day if it's oily, but use a gentle shampoo (avoid words like stripping ot clarifying) and brush first. You can use the clarifying shampoos once a week if your hair seems oily or limp.

Your solution is pretty cheap and simple. Use Vo5 hot oil treatment in your hair a couple times a week and stop washing your hair everyday! Slow it down by washing every other day. I know how you feel, because I love how my hair feels when it's clean, but its not good for it to be clean all the time! You can still use pharmacy shampoos and conditioners. Be sure to saturate your hair in conditioner for at least 3 mins after every time you shampoo. I'm loving Pantene Ice Shine right now.

I know this sounds gross, but don't wash your hair for a few days: leave it over the weekend or something. Some people say a week, but unless you never leave the house this is a little too long! =)
